Visa’s Everywhere Initiative began in the US in 2015 with the aim of harnessing the creativity and talent within the startup community to generate new ideas for commerce. Since launch, we’ve taken the competition to China, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and in 2016 we ran the first Visa Everywhere Initiative for Australia and New Zealand.
We’ve just announced our second annual competition in Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on driving gender diversity in finance and technology. We’re calling for all New Zealand and Australian startups that have at least one woman in their team and are keen to tackle one of two real-life business challenges for a chance win up to AUD$30,000.
Our partners KITE will help all the finalists prepare for their pitch which will take place at the Women In Payments conference in Sydney on 21 November 2017.
